T-SHIRT MAKE OVER
I have some Τ-shirts in colors, which I hardly wear. I do not even know how they ended up in my closet. I thought of this DIY idea, in order to use mainly colours I no longer like to wear in total look, and instead I transform them into bulky accessories. It is a very simple process and out of one T-shirt you can surely make 4-6 accessories for you and friends 🙂

x a marker
x a hairpin or a safety pin
Materials
x an old t-shirt
x some cord, either from the same t-shirt or any other strings – here I am using shoe laces!
Let’s DIY doIt!
Fold the shirt in half, so you can handle it more easily.
Draw a line on the sides of your T-shirt starting at the bottom hem and reaching to the shoulder, which will be used as a cutting line
Cut a rectangle
…and this is the piece you should end up with
Take the safety pin to pin through your ribbon or laces. This way it will be easy to loop the ribbon through the tunnel that used to form the bottom hem of the T-shirt
This is how you are getting in and you keep on pushing until you reach the end of your piece
… and this is how it will look like afterward…
Start cutting straight lines of 4-5 cm width each and be careful not to cut the seam line on the tunnel
Stretch every single strap
Ready 🙂
