DIY PRESENTS FOR THE GARDEN, THE TERRACE, THE PICNIC …
For the Easter Sunday lunch, I am invited to a beautiful courtyard. I am thinking to offer to the lovely hosts a bottle of home-made chestnut Rhodian liqueur I got from my last crafting trip there, and some colorful, handmade candleholders, which could be hanged on their whitewashed trees in the yard.
And what could be more special than taking care of everything my by myself … and I do not mean by simply buying the items, but actually crafting the gifts. I mean ok the liqueur is bought, but I am thinking to craft its appearance so that it reflects the season’s spirit 🙂
A gift bag for the liqueur or chocolates / eggs / wine / gifts and some cord for crafting the candle-holders. At such times my COLLECT4LIST sketchbook becomes extremely useful. There, I discovered an Easter potential treasure. A bright yellow t-shirt I had forgotten about!
With this t-shirt I will make everything I need!
I am starting with my colorful, hanging candle-holders
Extremely easily and quite independent of needed tools and materials.
x string / cord
If you wish to MAKE YOUR CORD BY YOURSELF CLICK HERE TO SEE HOW!
Once you have your string ready, you are just a few steps away from magic! From 1 single t-shirt, you can make up to 4 candle cases. It will all depend on how tight you tie your knots and how long you want your creation to be!
Get a candle in a holder or just grab a glass and a tealight candle from your cupboard and go for it!
